The Women Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party,  Imo State, have joined other stakeholders and members of the party across the state to congratulate His  Excellency, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha CON on his emergence as the Chairman of PDP Presidential Campaign Council in Imo State.

In a congratulatory visit to his residence, Tuesday, in Owerri, the 27 LGA Women Leaders, together with the three Zonal Women Leaders, led by the State Woman Leader, Chief Mrs Maria Mbakwe, stated that Imo PDP Women Leaders had implicit confidence in the leadership of His Excellency, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha who has been  providing selfless and true leadership to the party in the state.

Chief Mbakwe noted that the sterling achievements of the PDP administration in Imo State under Ihedioha led Rebuild  Imo administration, was enough campaign for all PDP candidates in the 2023 general elections.

The women leaders also extended felicitations to Chief Charles Babatunde Ezekwem, Director Presidential Campaign Council in Imo State, Deputy Directors and other members of the Council, while restating their resolve to work assiduously for victory of the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubarka and all PDP candidates at all levels.

In his remarks, the Rt. Hon. Ihedioha thanked the Imo State PDP Women Leaders for making out time to felicitate with him, assuring that, the party was poised for victory in the 2023 general elections.

He urged the women to continue to work with other leaders and members of the party to ensuring that the aggressive house -  to -  house campaign policy of the party is pursued, vigorously.
